With a powerful engine and lightweight construction, it offers excellent maneuverability and agility. The motorcycle is equipped with a 690 My brother got a KTM 690 SMC R 2014 after selling his SMC 2010. We frequently ride together and sometimes swap bikes. My DR is a 96 with improved shock and a Husaberg front-end (WP48). In terms of suspension I feel well-equipped, though generally on the softer side (to my liking). Power-wise? Well, the DR is up to par up to approx. 5.000 rpm. A spare 690cc DUKE R engine I have (first true 690 cc engine in single spark with 70 bhp back in 2010 / 2011, before the 2012/2013 SMC R / ENDURO R) is marked 753. Nota bene: 2012 / 2013 SMC R are marked 753 as well. 2014 to 2017 SMC R (690cc twin spark) are marked 760.
