Go to the trunk and put your key in and turn it all the way to the left and remove the key. This way by pushing the button at the trunk it will open, the trunk will lock when your doors are locked and the trunk will unlock when the doors are unlocked allowing the button at the trunk to work at that time. I'm not quite sure if your system works
